Murigu Foundation · Kenya

Caring for our elders, honouring a legacy.

We walk alongside elderly community members in Kenya with monthly gatherings, nutrition, prayer, and dignity — continuing the spirit of service Mr. John Kamau Murigu lived by.

100% of your donation reaches the elders — the Murigu family covers all admin costs.

Our mission

To reduce isolation, hunger, and hardship among elderly Kenyans through consistent monthly support, communal worship, and seasonal celebrations — funded by friends near and far.

Monthly community gatherings

Structured prayer, fellowship, wellness checks, and a shared meal — every month, without fail.

Monthly nutrition support

Each elder receives a pack of maize flour, 500 ml of milk, and half a loaf of bread monthly. Beans, rice, onions, and potatoes are added when available.

Holiday season care

A communal Thanksgiving lunch with gratitude sharing, and a festive Christmas gathering with a special meal, prayer service, and warm blankets gifted to every elder.

From our gatherings

Watch a recent monthly community gathering and see how your support reaches the elders directly.
